For those Ebayers out there who battle budgets to pay the insane cost of non-prescription drugs like Prilosec, have I got news for you!

I've taken prilosec for years; first it was by prescription only; then the Prilosec OTC made its debut on pharmacy and grocery store shelves everywhere.  First my insurance paid for it, but then refused of course when it became available over the counter.  Currently, the cost of one prilosec pill at my local grocery store is .71 each.  One day out of desperation, I keyed the word PRILOSEC into my Ebay search engine, never seriously dreaming of a result.  But, much to my surprise, multiple ads appeared and they were selling like hotcakes for a fraction of what I'd paid locally.  Life is just good some days!

I've purchased from multiple sellers and they've all been very positive transactions.  Quick delivery on all counts so far, and the pills are packaged just like they came from the factory with seals intact.  Plus, the expiration dates on these pills are typically 1 year or more from the purchase date.  The last batch I bought is good til sometime in 2008.   I believe I paid .35 or so cents each for the last box I purchased.  (Half the cost of buying it locally)  I've also noticed a generic type of prilosec being sold on Ebay for even less than the real thing,  but I have not had any experience with these types.

There are multiple other pharmaceuticals products listed on Ebay of the nonprescription variety.  I also purchase plant hormone creams for pennies on the dollar of what I pay at my local healthfood store. Whenever I need nonprescription drugs or natural remedies that I don't need immediately, I always check Ebay first!  I like the savings, and I LOVE the satisfaction I get knowing that I'm not padding the pockets of the pharmaceutical industry!
