For anyone wondering where to begin when you want to start a great collection for children, you will find these books are timeless, tender and memorable, where young and old alike will treasure the stories.   Having stood the test of time, some were first published over 50 years ago, yet still seem as fresh as they were when first introduced. There are scores more great collections, i.e., Dr. Seuss or any of the Walt Disney books, but this list is more concise.
