Instead of buying a already built computer from Dell, you can save half the cost and build it yourself. You may think your getting all that free software that comes on the computer that would cost alot, but alot of it (even stuff they sell) comes free on CD's with the stuff you buy for it. Simply, buy all the stuff AT THE CHEAPEST PRICE YOU CAN FIND! Everything needs to support each other, the Motherboard must be compatible with the memory, the CPU must be compatible with the Motherboard, and the hard drive, disk drives, and PCI/AGP cards must be supported with it. Like if you get a SATA ATA Hard Drive, you need to make sure the Motherboard has SATA ATA hookups. Also, get a great case with enough ventilation. And the CASE supports EVERYTHING! Now, compare prices with MAJOR COMPUTER MANUFACTURERS! Cut off some bucks from the Major Computer Price so that people would be interested. Now, either risk having NO RESERVE and start out at a penny, or have a price at the minumum you'll want for it (making profit etc) and/or have the Maximum you'll get for it. Also, check eBay to see how much they are going for, and even include links to the other listings to show how amazingly low the price is. To find out how to build a computer, get the book MAXIMUM PC: Building A Dream PC. It could be found at a bookstore like Borders, Barnes and Nobles, Books A Million, etc. I hope this was helpful for you!
