After looking on ebay for a heat pump, I found                  BUDGET HEATING AND AIR from Tampa Florida. Good Prices and friendly people. But it ends there

I bought  a 4 ton heat pump a Goodman, it was installed on may 19,2008. on june 18 it failed. I did read their warranty as stated on their web page. Well the fact is the Goodman company will pay for parts.When I contacted Budget heating and Air they told me to read their warranty. parts only.  My contractor told me he will warrant any work he did for 1 year. He will not repair a new unit FREE. Well it is like this, it will cost about $150 for parts but it cost $650 to install the part. Budget told me to eat the $650 so add it to the price and I saved nothing at all.It really is sad when you pay $2400 (plus $600 to install) for a unit and it works for less than 30 days then you are told TUFF.I would never buy from Budget Air again  or a unit here on ebay..It is a gamble  if you receive a good unit amen, if you receive a junk unit TUFF. So it comes down to this fact, save your money and let Budget air get the message.I will not stop here.It would be a good thing if they replaced the unit, It really hurts when you are a senior and your money is gone in a flash. They got our stimulas check.             Thanks for nothing
