If you find a Brighton item with the Brighton name or serial number marked through or unreadible, Brighton does send items to their outlet stores.  When doing so they mark through the Brighton name or S/N with permanent markers. These items are Brighton, but cannot be warrantied or serviced by Brighton. When selling an item like this on Ebay it is helpful to indicate it is such to your Buyers.
