Breyer Animal Creations has been producing high quality model horses for over 50 years. Breyer Horses come in many shapes and sizes. Please use this guide as a resource for the Breyer Horses that are right for you.
Breyer Model Horse Catagories are as follows: Traditional, Classics, Paddock Pals, Ponies, Stablemates, and Mini Whinnies.
Traditional Model (1/9 scale) horses are the largest. Averaging in size from approximately 7 inches high by 4 inches wide by 12 inches long. Recommended age is 8 years and up. The Traditional Series offer more than 25 breeds and disciplines of horses, each hand crafted. With no two models exactly alike, this often leads to making them prized collectibles. They are both cherished toys, as well as in many cases valued heirlooms. So many of the models increase in value over time as they are Retired from any further production. Some models are Limited Edition, or Special Run and are produced in very limited quantities.

A MUST SEE FAMILY FILM
Classics (1/12scale) are a bit smaller than the Traditional and average 7 inches high by 3 inches wide by 7 inches long. The recommended age on this group is 6 years and up. These horse are also hand crafted, but their models and accesories are geared to the slightly younger crowd, giving them excellent play value. As a rule they are priced more affordably than the Traditional Series.

Paddock Pals (1/24 scale)are slightly smaller in size than the Classics averaging 5 inches high by 1.5 inches wide by 6 inches long.Recommended for ages 4 and up, with some of the playsets having small parts are recommended for ages 6 and up. They are geared more toward the young horse enthusiast, and come in many breeds, sold as a single horse or in playsets. These are affordably priced and are made with imaginative play in mind.
Paddock Pals Mare and Foal with Saddle Set
Ponies (1/12) are made with the very youngest horse lovers in mind. Designed for ages 3 and up, they are on average 7.5 inches high by 2 inches wide, by 7 inches long. They have brushable manes and tails, come in a wide array of authentic colors and have the sweetest expressions. Their tack is removable to add to their play value. They are featured mainly in playsets.
The English Rider and Pony is one of the most popular sets in the series!
Stablemates (1/32scale) are significantly smaller than the above models measuring on the average 2.5 inches high by 1 inch wide by 3 inches long. They are recommended for ages 4 and up, with some of the playsets recommended for ages 6 and up. They are beautifully detailed and come in a variety of breeds and colors. They also sometimes come in limited editions and are also collected by adults as well. They come with many additonal items such as tack and barns and are featured in many wonderful playsets.

Mini Whinnies are brand new from Breyer and they are the tiniest horse in the line measuring 1.25 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. Recommended for ages 6 and up. They come in sets complete with a heart shaped carrying case and have many scene sets to choose from.
