I have collected Boyds Bears for years, I used to own a store until I took custody of my grandson. He was 10 at the time and bears were not enjoyable to him, so I had to sell the store & ended up keeping some of my real favorites of over 950 bears at the house and had every Porcelain doll that Boyds had made. We then got into horses and farm animals for him. Boyds bears started me on Ebay back in 1999. Since then I have bought and resold bears, I just wondered the other day, how many bears I have bought back that I have sold. . I now only buy and keep the 20-22 inch ones for myself to dress up like kids. You can see 4 of them above. I have dealt with some awesome people on Ebay and have helped a few persons myself, I have the value guides and have spent up to 4 or 5 hours trying to help some of the sellers name their bears... So if anyone needs any help Bethy56 is the best at it. Thanks to all of you who gave my Bears a great home. Oh by the way, the picture that shows on my Ebay auction page is not me. It is my son Jeff.. He was shot and killed in 2001 by a man that wanted his (Jeff's) $1300.00 & his gold necklace..Jeff lived just long enough to tell the police who shot him... I will tell you that was a shocker... Dont know why God took him at his young age, with two daughters to raise, but it has taught me a lot about death. Not afraid of it anymore... I have been through several family deaths and have been the backbone of the family since then.. It never seems right for a child to go before a parent, but God must have had a place for him....
