Each item made by Boyd's Crystal Art Glass is done in a run of one color - no color is ever repeated in the same mould. Over 300 colors have been made. They stay in a run for approximately one month.

Boyd changes their mould marking every 5 years to help the collector determine when the mould was made in that color. Boyd's Glass is well known for their unique colors and moulds, making their glass very collectible. Boyd has made over 300 different colors, and has produced glass in over 200 different Moulds! The older pieces are becoming very hard to find.
