So your new one is coming and you know you will have to have bottles even if you breast feed, the only question is which ones to buy.
1. Decide if you want glass or plastic. Most people go with plastic b/c they don't break.
2. Check the recall list. The last thing you want is to shop, find what you want, only to later find out there is a problem.
3. Don't stock up. If your child won't take to one type and you have to buy another, you'll be upset.
4. Look for the most cost effective ones. Such as: do they work with your breast pump? do they have separate lids for storage w/o the nipple? Is there a way to carry formula separate from the bottle but without carrying around a can? are the nipples the same as your pacifier?
If you do your research you can come up with some great bargains. My favorite is the First Years Soothie set (yes to all questions under number 2 if you buy the starter set).
Good Luck
