This is a MUST read! I got the book for my 12 y/o niece (she has all the dolls and the first book),
but I could not put it down or give it to her until I finished reading it (all in one sitting).

You've created a Cajun fairy land, like Walt created a Disneyland.
That's the way I read it. Your characters feel like a Disney scene set in the sugar cane fields.
Madame Plume is my favorite with the Queen and the Poulette a close second.
