We don't have any of the playsets so I can't vouch for those.  But, my two year old son has almost every one of the vehicles and plays with them daily.  They have been toted to grandparents house in the Bob shaped case and on vacation in two different states.  None of the pieces have broken, everything is completely in tact as the day we bought them.  We love them.
