Blue Ridge Pottery's Southern Dogwood Pattern is often confused with Stetson Potteries Dixie Dogwood pattern. The Blue Ridge Southern Dogwood dinner plates, large serving bowls, soup bowls and the cake plate almost always carry the Blue Ridge name with the logo including the mountains and the fir tree. The rest of the pieces are unmarked. The way to tell the difference with these unmarked pieces is to look at the flowers. The Southern Dogwood Pattern does NOT have the brown dots on the flower petals while Stetson's Dixie dogwood carries these brown dots.
