Bid rigging and Auction..

Hello reader, I have been a member of ebay for a few weeks and let me tell you what I experience so far. Would you not think that, if someone puts an item for auction, it should be an item for auction?

First of all, auction means = A public sale in which property or items of merchandise are sold to the highest bidder! Hey, that is so easy to understand, dont you think? But, this is not auction.. when the item has a reserved price.

Now, let me talk about Bid-Rigging (price fixing). First of all, it means = The result of an unlawful agreement between manufacturers or dealers to set and maintain specified prices on typically competing products. The organized setting of what the public will be charged for certain products or services agreed to by competitors in the marketplace in violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act (15 U.S.C.A. § 1 et seq.).

I have been bidding on 5 vehicles only. I use several websites, to get the market value of every item I bid on. And I stop my bid process when I feel the item is not worth the money. Imagine, you are bidding on something that might be over 150 miles away from you, there is no way on earth you could inspect it before. But on this 5 vehicles, I never won the bid. The winner is somebody that has like 100% "Positive Feedback" and that is on ebay. Now there should not be any problems for this member to purchase the item he won, but instead.. almost right away I'll get an email (not through ebay) saying that the member cannot give up the equity. And weeks after, this member still has a "Positive Feedback" of 100% !

I think this member should "lose his shirt" and of course his feedback! And let me say something about the seller, if you are posting the same car for auction "over and over and..", maybe you are not trying to sell your car, maybe you are just trying to advertise your business. And if sellers are not sellers, then its a "Rerun abuse" and I can not stand having excessive rerunning gameshows everywhere! Its OK if this would be on TV, but hey I'm online to get a better price than the mall around the block.
