I got taken, big time, when I bought a retro scooter from an outfit in Kansas. They claimed that one can call anytime for assistance.Well,it actually turned out that when I received the item certain parts still needed to be put together. The
manual was not accurate for the scooter, wires where not correctly assembled from the factory. After calling their service department the owner began yelling,"How dare you call and suggest their's something wrong with our product, etc."
By the way their write-up on the web pagee had an extensive supposed warranty. Some of these outfits buy these scooters in lot supplies from China or another counrty. Beware, unless you are mechanical, don't buy unless you know
you can take it somewhere for service.
