I am rewriting a guide that I posted in the ATV catagory many months ago and posting it to the travel trailer catagory.

I have bought more than my share of ATVs on ebay.

You probably have noticed that late model ATVs and older fiberglass Egg trailers sell for aatleast NADA rettail book and in the case of fiberglass Eggs much more. Occasionaly you can buy one for less than retail book.

In every instance of a unit being advertisedfor a buy it know price much less than retail value it is a scam, this is your first tip off.

Second tip off is the restricted listing,You can not buy it know until you are placed on the selleers pre-approved lisst. the third tip off is you have tocontact them an a non ebay address as their box is full of not working.

The fourth is, you have to have it shipped to you even though it is near your home. It is never at the location listed in the add.

Even though I am an old man wiwth 4 grandsons I love ATVs and am always looking for a good deal I have been buying quads on ebay since November of 05. I hope that thsoe of you that are new to ebay eill profit from my experience.

NEver buy something from someone that wants you to contact them outside of ebay and never think that you are going to get a quad or an Egg trailer for half price. IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. Never let your greed get the better of your common sense.
