One of the lastest scams I've seen is in the form of a question to the seller. It generally reads :       "Hello, My name is xxxxxxxx. I just saw the item that you have for sale and I remember seeing the same item two days ago listed by another person. Please take a look: at (here they will post a link that they want you to click on, usually containing the word ebay, but not a genuine link) "

Even though the name sounds American, maybe even female, it is usually a man in Nigeria, wanting you to click on the URL so they can steal your ID. These postings are best left alone.
