I bought two sets of motorcycle saddle bags from Leatherny  (Jafrum-com). Both item descriptions described the bags as being "treated for water resistant". Within minutes of installing one set of bags on my bike it began to drizzle. My bags immediatel began to bubble up and orange peel.

I emailed Jafrum-com and sent a pic of the damage. I asked for a replacement or refund. Their response was: "Thank you for your purchase! Yes the bags are water treated but not water proof. We have water proof bags in other auctions. Have a blessed day!"

Huh? If the bags were water treated like the auction said they were they would not have been damaged. So I asked what the difference between water treated and water proof was. They replied that water proof meant the contents in the bags would not get wet and water treated meant the leather would not get damaged by water.

Ok, my treated bags got wet and were damaged. I sent them a picture of the damage. What part of these water resistant treated bags got wet and were damaged did they not understand? Again I asked for a replacement or refund. I was told to ship the bags back to them in North Carolina at my expense and after a manufacturers inspection (the bags are made in Pakistan!)  they will either deny my claim and ship the bags back to me after they recieve postage from me or send me new set. I was not about to spend $15 to send a $40 item back to the seller knowing that I may have to send another $15 to get them back. Terrible customer service.

I filed a PayPal claim and after a few more ridiculous run around emails I escalated it to a dispute The very next day the bags I bought for ny wifes bike got wet and they too were damaged!

Then I get an email from Jafrum-com saying that their record show I have yet to pay for the item! I paid, you shipped!

Stay away from Jafrum-com. Their customer service is terrible. Their auctions are misleading. Their products are cheap.

Now Jafrum-com is sending me emails threatening me with an Unpaid Item Strike!!!!! Duh....... I paid, you shipped, remember???? They have been harassing and threatening me only because I filed a complaint against them. They say it is how their check out system operates. You pay for a water resistance treated item, they ship it to you, it gets damaged in a light rain, you file a PayPal complaint, the checkout no longer shows the paid item as being paid for????? Give me a break. Nothing but harassment and threats.

I filed a BBB harassment complaint with Charlotte, N.C. BBB, let's see how this goes.

I got an email from Jafrum-com thanking me for my purchase and saying they would email me when the item ships!!!!!! HUH???? I told them to please ship it quickly because my old bags got wet in a light rain and where ruined. That's some ridiculous system they got there. Stay clear of them.
