I have an addiction and jeans are my poison. I have always bought jeans
on Ebay, Nordstroms, sorority denim sales and small time chic
boutiques. After reading a guide about how to spot fake citizens (in
which 5,000 and some people read! Eeek!) I went through my closet to see if there was any truth
to this self proclaiming jean scholars' rants and raves about what
makes citizens real... and well, it looks like I don't have one pair of
real citizens... out of 6!!! So much for buying jeans from
Nordstroms, boutiques, anywhere??? NO! I have four pairs of citizens
from which I bought from Nordstroms and all of them have an "h" on the
back of the button and the tag is shiny but they do have a bumpy
texture. Well I'm not marching into Nordstroms and giving them back and demanding ones with "original" stamped on the back of the button. I'm not saying that I have all the answers about jeans... but, who does? Well if you educate yourself on the jeans you are buying, ie go try them on at the store, you will be. And of course buy from someone who has great feedback. Good luck!
