I purchased an SanDisk SD 2GB memory card from a guy that does not take PayPal. That should have been my first clue that something was wrong. Well, I got the card as a backup for my other cards. Two months later I was using it and it failed and I lost bunch of pictures. I tried contacting the guy who sold it to me and he of course does not respond. I went to the manufacturer just to see what could be wrong, well I learned the card was not authentic. It is a fake card. It does not have a serial number on the back and on the bottom edge is not the same as their other cards.

Be carefull of those selling memory cards that are fake out there.
