I recently did some business with shoemetro. I purchased a pair of shoes for my wife and thought that it will be handled like any normal transaction. I received an email two days after I paid for the item stating that they did not have the item in stock and that they would give me a refund or store credit with another pair. I responded the same day stating that I wanted a full refund and that I would be leaving negative feedback for my experience. I received an email an additional two days later stating that they have the item all of a sudden but they wouldnot ship it until I withdrew the feedback. I then stated if they had the product then they should ship it to mebeing that I paid in fulll with shipping. $ days later I receive an email from squaretrade stating that shoemetro has filed a case against me to withdraw the feedback. I first thought what nerve do they have filing a case against me. The case was in mediation fo about 3weeks to a month until the mediator against my will withdrew the feedback in their favor. I thought what a bunch of bull. I have filed cases with the better business bureau and the california bar association and have received no response execpt them telling me if it happens again they will act on it. I also check on their feedback and foundout it happens more often than you think from these so called professionals. I guess what I am trying to say is before you do business with this company be sure that they have the product maybe you should have them send it before you pay to make sure. And furthermore if you check the feedback and see my id (redd-liner) that feedback still stands with me not mutually withdrawn on my part.
