I looked on eBay today for a Pioneer CDJ-1000 Mk3, and over half the listings that came up were scams. Here are some things to watch out for when purchasing CDJs or any high-end product:

- If there is a picture of the product with a buy it now and an email address pasted on top. This is a guaranteed scam, where people offer ridiculously low Buy It Nows in an off eBay transaction.
- If the seller has very, very low feedback and has a fairly common picture of 2 CDJ-1000 Mk3s and a DJM-800, this should be a red flag automatically
- Any auction that says please contact me at a certain email address for prices on the item.
