I bought 2 lots of electronics from Liquidation.com (Liquidity services Inc.) in the last month. One was a Pallet of digital cameras. Liquidation.com had the original photos of the items in their listing. This lot was 20 cameras. The most expensive camera was pictured (canon Rebel SLR) in two of the pictures. when I received the shipment it was missing exactly that camera. There was only 19 cameras. I filed a dispute with Liquidation.com. After few days they replied to me . The answer was "The photos in the listing are for only reference" and they are refunding me $17 based on the average price for 20 cameras, even thou the the Canon SLR camera that was missing is the most expensive one in the lot.
The folowng week I bought a lot of 3 LCD HD projectors (Optoma). I arranged the shipping through UPS. When I received , I was shocked to find 2 old Mitsubishi damaged projectors and one small computer presentaion projector (also damaged). Again I filed the dispute. This time the answer was "Investigation was done and the right merchandise was shipped". I called their Buyer relations dept. and complained about it. The lady said that she re-opened the dispute because I didn't accept their resolution. After 2 days, I got another message basically saying that they are refusing my dispute beacause I arranged my own shipping.
