- Look at the packaging and see if it seems counterfeit. The writing on the packaging, is written in German. Also it indicated that it was made in Germany.bbIt was difficult to determine if it was authentic. If you have writing in Chinese, I am sure it is counterfeit as well.
- After a month of using the fake brush heads, the blue indicator does not fade, meaning that you are unaware that the brush has to be replaced. This is an indication that they are fake. Normally the authentic brush heads fade.
- The Oral-B's logo on the fake brush head can be scratched off with your nail. Real Oral B brush heads use high quality paint and it never comes off.
- After a month of use, you will notice that your gums are red, and hurt. This occurs because the bristles are not Oral B quality and they are hurting your gums. I noticed my gumline were receding.
If you noticed that the brush heads that you purchased on eBay are counterfeit, you can file a claim with Paypal before the 45th calendar day. Do not leave the seller feedback after the 45th day and that you determined that the brush heads are authentic.

Filing a Resolution Dispute with Paypal
Please take note that you have a window of filing your claim of 45 calendar days since the payment.
- Once in the resolution center page, click on the link that is in the gray box to the left "Report a Problem".
- Select which type of problem it is: Since you were aware of the purchase select the first item, "Item dispute: I did not receive an item I purchased or the item I received is significantly not as described." Click Continue.
- Now you will need to select the transaction id (the item purchased that is fake). Click on the button, "Select Transaction ID".
