This holiday season is a great time to beat the winter blues by cozying up to a great novel.

These books are not in any order, but they are timeless classics and awesome to read anytime, anywhere....

Here is a list of my all time favorite books:

1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (all of her books are witty, funny and so sweet)

2. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

3. The Scarlet Pimpernel

4. Harry Potter (all of them are great)

5. Interperter of Maladies by J. Lahiri ( the Namesake is awesome also). She is so eloquent and subtle.

6. Dune by Frank Herbert

7. Cosmos by Carl Sagan ( what a scientist, what communicator ! Brilliant beyond words.....they should make more professors like him....makes science exciting, entertaining and fun to learn).

I suppose there are many many more countless other books that come to mind ......create your own and make time to read a great book !
