Many people really wish to get into the fantastic hobby of flying an RC chopper. The difficulty in learning and the impending disaster of crashing a very expensive model are preventing many a potential pilot from entering the sport.

Never has there been a better time to get into RC choppers. The latest technology allows for almost everyone to learn with little or no RISK.

The MAIN thing to remember is to start with the CORRECT model to learn basic flight,before advancing to a complex machine which will require an extreme amount of maintenance,knowledge and setup.

No vehicle in the world is as complex to maintain as a REAL helicopter.The Nitro or Gas RC choppers are the same as there full scale brothers.

Novice choppers have not a clue about HOW TO setup a gas/Nitro chopper. Thes machine are really fun and amazing but a novice needs to stay away from purchasing such machines until acquisition of knowledge and skill are sufficient to undertake task.

The absolute best choppers I have seen and flown for a new pilot are:

Here is the reason why these choppers will allow for success with a neophyte pilot.

NO TAIL ROTOR - Counter rotating main blades.

The counter rotating main blades REALLY enhance the stability of the model and allow for the novice to make a few errors with the TIME needed to correct transmitter input.

I have personally trained over 100 novice pilots with these choppers and ALL have succeed in getting there wings ! Many have advanced to gas/nitro choppers and stayed in the hobby.

A novice must learn to hover BEFORE any other task and these two choppers will allow for a hover to be accomplished in a very short time.

Have no doubt, if you are considering getting into the hobby,these are the choppers to purchase.

The E Flite Blade CX comes RTF,even WITH transmitter batteries. Cost is less than 200.00 for the RTF model.

The only poor item is the instructional cd attempting to teach basic flight,all of about 10 minutes long. What a joke.
