Sony Playstation 3 is the first High-Def game system in the market!
When you first open the box, it only have a cheap composite audio/video cable. If you using this cable, you wasting your high dollars on the Sony PS3.
You need to get a component cable, DVI or HDMI cable to get the best picture at 1080p.
- Good = Component cable. Have 3 RCA video cables and 2 RCA audio cables.
- Better = DVI video cable, need optical or RCA for audio.
- Best = HDMI carry both video and audio.
The other main thing is your LCD/Plasma TV
Your LCD/Plasma must have Pixel Resolution 1920 x 1080 to enjoy the full 1080p High-Def.
Cheaper LCD/Plasma with Pixel Resolution 1366 x 768 will only be 2nd best, it will get you to 720p /1080i
Watching Blu-Ray movies and playing game @ 1080p is TOTALY AWSOME!
