Looking for unusual sweaters and other high crafted items? Look at the Berek and Michael Simon lines. Mainly I buy sweaters which are so unique and works of art. The quality is superb and become wearable conversation pieces. Normally they sell for over $100 or more. My particular favorites are dog and golf items. But there are so many to fit your hobby or interests.
Carefully look at the pictures and descriptions before bidding. If any questions, don't hesitate to contact the seller. Often there are intricate bead work and knitting. Even vintage items are good buys if you examine the product.
Fitting is also an important factor. Berek sweaters normally run a little on the large size, and normally are very heavy. Conversely, Michael Simon, a designer in NY, sweaters fit smaller. He also offers cotton knit items, great but as you would surmise, not a sweater entirely for warmth.Michael Simon also has a full line for your doggies. You will be a walking attention getter.
Both are extremely well made and are sold at finer stores of boutiques. Just a quick check on the internet- prices can top $200 or more. So Ebay is the perfect place for a good, great bargain.
On bidding- there are lots of collectors of these items. Try to watch the ending bids. You will, and I have, gotten outbid in the last few seconds. Worth every dollar you can spend.
Happy sweater shopping... enjoy your personal masterpiece.
