Hi Gang! I'm taking this time to set you guys straight. I'm an old man now, but when I was young, I wasn't very smart. I told some whopper lies, and I didnt play fair with other kids my age. I had a smart mouth, and I never knew when enough was enough. In fact, it wasn't until I joined the U.S. Navy in 1973, that I learned the meaning of teamwork. I learned it in Bootcamp. Bootcamp was a place where 60-70 guys all live together in a barracks and are graded how well they perform against other "companies" or groups of men.Later on, I learned how important it was to get along with others and give the other guy a fair shake.
Well, today, I want to tell you that it is important to do the right thing. To be honest and fair with one another. To tell the truth and to stand up for what's right. Here on E-bay and everywhere else. Often times, it isn't easy. You all probobly know that. Doing the right thing never is. Taking the easy way out usually doesnt pan out. Stay in school. Work hard. Don't use drugs.Be fair with others and be honest. You will have more, not less friends this way.
One other thing I would like to share with you. I always thought the most important thing was to win,or get the most stuff,or do whatever it takes to get my reward or prize. Well, sometimes, it's o.k. to let others win. I don't mean in sports when your competeing. I mean like in line at the lunch counter or at the bus stop or at the grocery store. You know what I mean. Let the other guy win. You will feel better for it. Try it. You'll see what I mean. Well, goodnight. Mikey
