There are somethings to consider before selling on eBay. First stop is checking to see if what you plain to sell is allowed on eBay. Once you know that your item is allow on eBay and is legal to sell in your country you need to consider the value of the said item. For example a cd that is only worth $3 and is not very poplar would be a waste of fees. Cross compare what the item sells for on eBay and other places. Avoid listing low value and heavy items such as tube televisions, even if you do a local pickup the odds of finding a customer is slim. You would have a better chance of unloading those tube televisions at a yard sale, flee market or on Craiglist. Also avoid selling very old electronics because no one wants some cassette tapes, vhs, lazerdisc, eight tracks and all that old stuff on eBay. Unload your very old electronics locally. Once you find some stuff worth listing review eBay's rules for sellers. You are not required to have a picture of your item but I strongly recommend that you get a digital camera and take some pictures. You should get yourself a shipping scale so you know the cost of shipping the item. Once you're at the listing page. Writes at least a four sentence essay about the item. Add your terms to the listing but try not to make you are listing five pages long with terms.
