I started collecting about seven years ago by buying a huge cashe of lights, signs, and mirrors. The purpose was to resell the stuff for a handsome profit.I am so glad I only sold what I didn't want.I have done a lot of research of buying patterns, listing practices, and to be simple about it I've sold a couple thousands items off of ebay. All of this was done in a very short amount of real time.Today I ask myself the question where is the business going? Well I've seen people sell tin signs that are mass produced for handsome profits.I've seen people sell cheap etched plastic signs for a penny, with a forty dollar shipping price from Japan.Little do the people who purchase these know they can t get a replacement bulb in the US.I've seen so many sellers lie about the desciption of items.I've seen so many piss poor pack jobs it would make a postal person puke.Buying, selling, trading is all about honesty and integrity.NOT LIES.Some sellers choose to leave out that scratch or blemish that takes the value to half.Don t mess around do business..I have also been seeing these dumb pouring beer lights from the 80's showing up with copyright infringed labels. Some piece's of garbage named twstdmtltwstd and gizmo_bones have some dumb 1980's novelty beer mug pourers from China, they add stickers to these and claim they are real when they are fakes.. I just hate to see people paying 100 dollars of their hard earned money on junk from China that is worth nothing.
