Bed in a Bag: Most of bed in a bag kits consist of a three piece sheet set. Twin sheet sets come standard with one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and one pillow case. Full and larger sized sets include two pillowcases. Additional throw pillows and headboard bolster pillows can be added to form a complete kit.
Bed Skirt: Used to hide the storage area under the bed, cover the box spring and frame, and limit the amount of dust on the floor under your bed. This keeps dust mites away from your bedding and you.
Comforter: Bedding made of two layers of cloth filled with stuffing and stitched together.
Comforter Set: These sets come in a variety of choices. Options include a comforter, bed skirt, shams, throw pillows, and sheet sets. Some sets have an additional matching shower curtain and window drapes/valances.
Cotton/Cotton Blend: Fabric made from the natural fiber of cotton plants. It is breathable and is known to draw moisture away from the skin.
Daybed Ensemble: Designed specifically for daybeds, these sets have options of a comforter, bed skirt, shams, Euro shams, and bolster pillow covers.
Denim: A firm, durable cotton or blended fabric that is traditionally indigo blue.
Duvet Cover: Acts as a giant pillow case for your comforter. It’s removable and washable, protecting your comforter and making laundry day mush easier.
Duvet Set: Customize your own bedding set from options of a duvet cover, bedskirt, matelasse cover, duvet down or poly fill, pillowcases, standard shams, Euro Shams, sham fills, and an assortment of throw and bolster pillows. Some sets have an option of a matching sheet set and window drapery/valence.
Egyptian Cotton: Considered the finest grade of cotton. Having the longest fibers in the cotton family, it has a soft and luxurious feel.
Euro Sham: An ornamental covering for a European square shaped pillow (26" H x 26" W).
Fitted Sheet: Sheet with elastic corners to fit snugly over your mattress
Flannel: A soft, nappy, woolen cloth of loose texture.
Flat Sheet: The sheet that lies between the fitted sheet and the comforter. The higher the thread count (the number of threads per square inch of material) the softer the feel.
Gingham: Usually a medium-weight cotton with checks, narrow stripes, or plaid designs.
Jersey Knit/T-Shirt Cotton: A slightly elastic machine-knit fabric with a smooth face side and a slightly textured back side.
Linen: Linen or cotton articles to adorn a bed. Bed linen includes sheets, pillowcases, shams, quilts, and blankets.
Matelasse Coverlet: A blanket with a suggestion of quilting, with depressed lines which form a pattern in relief.
Microsuede/Microfiber: A fine synthetic fiber woven into lightweight, washable and breathable fabric that holds shape extremely well. Has a sueded finish for a luxurious, soft feel. It is naturally water repellant due to its construction process.
Pillow Sham: An ornamental covering for a standard sized pillow that is not in use.
Quilt Set: Customize a set with options of a quilt, bed skirt, sheet sets, shams, pillowcases, throw pillows, and matching shower curtain and window drapery/valences.
Sateen: A cotton fabric that is woven to provide a lustrous and smooth sheen resembling satin.
Satin: A shiny woven fabric made from silk or rayon with a glossy, smooth finish and a soft back.
Sheet Set: Includes one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and 1-2 standard to king size pillow cases depending on size.
Silk: A natural fiber with a soft, smooth, and luxurious feel. Being very strong and high in quality, it can be more expensive.

Toile: A French word for cloth or fabric. Has a one color, fine line printed design that resembles finely engraved copper etchings.
Window Drapery/Valence: Hanging drapery covering for a window. A valence is a short ornamental piece of drapery placed across the top of a window.
