I recently got some feedback from a person who said that they thought they were bidding on a book, when I was selling an ebook. This is very common from my experience, even if it is stated in the auction. I have sold email addresses that said ps3 in the email address and people paid and then wondered where there ps3 was. I question what planet some of these people are from, ps3's are'nt even out yet?
My point is this, you can list everything perfect and you will still get some jokers asking where their new mercedez benz is when they only bid 50 cents on something that is obviously not a car. But, for new sellers expecially you can cut down on this nonsense by being very specific and sometimes almost rude to the reader by pointing out what you product is and what it is not.
Doing this can save many bad feedback oppurtunities and will help you build your ebay business the right way. Don't be afraid of reveiling any "secrets" of your product in the listing, because believe you me, it will be better that it is in the listing after the sale, there will be no questions after the fact this way, and nobody likes suprises, when they are bad ones!
Hope this helps some new sellers get off on the right foot,
Nick Simpson
