There's a new Wave of issues to battle on ebay,the unpaid item. Lately i have been getting a lot of items not paid for by customers. A few months ago i averaged maybe 1 a week,but currently it has risen to about 10 a week. Whats the cause of this?. I personaly think due to the lack of any safe gaurds to make customers accountable, a lot of them are running a muck. It takes two weeks to get your money back,which is totaly unfair. A better structure needs to be implemented. Look at examples of the emails i have received.
"go ahead and do a nonpaying bidder thing or whatever it is called so that ebay will refund you all your selling fees on all the items i clicked. i prefer to use ebay normally but i found a site that lets u buy these exact movies for $3-$4 AND charge a flat shipping rate of $12.95 no matter how many movies you get so i thought my offers were reasonable for that reason. im sorry but i'd rather just not get these if i can save alot of money buying elsewhere".
" IF YOU WANT YOUR EBAY FEES BACK THAN I SUGGEST YOU CLOSE ALL THESE DISPUTES WITH MUTAL CONSENT CLOSURES! OTHERWISE EAT DUST! YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR INVENTORY! WELL NOW YOU HAVE HAD YOU TEMPER TANTRUM. NOW YOU ARE GOING TO A SAMPLE OF MY WRATH, JUST A LITTLE, SO IF YOU DO NOT STRAIGHTEN OUT EVERY PROBLEM MORE WILL COME"!
(This person didnt pay for over 60 items,and left negatives for items they didnt pay for,since been removed from ebay)
If your having these types of issues, waste no time reporting them to ebay customer service. Let them know how unhappy you are about your situation. I believe if enough of us flood them with these complaints they will want to make some type of change.
