• Clip toenails straight across to prevent ingrown nails, and use an emery board to file them in one direction, straight across.
• Once a week, fill a basin with warm water and soak your feet for about 10 minutes. Throw in some Epsom salts or scented bath oil for an aromatherapy experience. Scrub your toenails with a nailbrush before rinsing them in cool water.
• Scrub rough patches with a wet pumice stone or foot sloughing cream – be gentle and don’t over scrub.
• Massage your feet with a rich cream, rubbing little circles and moving from heel to toe. Then up the sides and over the front, rolling the ball of your foot between your thumbs and fingers.
