Bargainland has an average of almost 500 Negative feedbacks PER MONTH, with an Ebay rating of 89%. This means that OVER 10% of thier transactions are UNSATISFACTORY to their buyers.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IF BARGAINLAND HAS DONE YOU WRONG:

Add  www to the beginning of the following: (eBay doesn't allow links)

azag.gov/consumer/complaintform.html

This goes to an online complaint form for the Arizona Attorney Generals Office. (where Bargainland is based) They may respond if enough people just do it! Here is Bargainlands Info for the Online Complaint Form:

Name: Bargainland - Liquidation

While small sellers like myself and others work hard to achieve a perfect 100% Positive Feedback score hoping to improve our odds of sale, it seems the the huge powersellers don't really care what you or anyone else thinks. As long as they are allowed to get away with this, and it seems to be fine with Ebay, (who must be making massive bank off of such a large seller) - Buyer Beware!

My Experience:

I won two auctions from Bargainland.  I paid for both auctions within 24 hours via PayPal.  Two weeks later I did receive one item.  It was in less than perfect condition, but hey, no complaining, they do state clearly "AS IS", and THEY MEAN IT.  I left positive feedback on that auction.

As for the second item....almost a month later, with MANY emails and phone calls (where I was assured three days in a row via long distance phone calls that my leather barstools were shipping THAT DAY)....I suddenly am refunded my money on the second auction with no explanation!

THE KICKER?

Bargainland  has been selling singles and sets of these EXACT barstools the entire time I have been waiting for mine!  I believe they sell, sell, sell....and then pick and choose (the highest dollar amount winners) to actually send the items to, simply refunding everyone who won for less. (I won mine for less than the other sets that sold, so tough luck for me I guess).

They are selling two singles right this minute, but they can't send me mine? WHY?  I think this is very poor business practice.

*When they say item may not be in condition described,
BELIEVE  Them! - It's Probably Not.

*They use STOCK, "Factory Photos" for a Reason...

*As for their customer service, I'd rate it: POOR - To - NONE.

*Do a web search on "Bargainland" and see what sites are saying about them.

*Read, Read, Read their feedback!  They have such high volume, you need to read pages of it to get the general idea.
