I have been using mineral make-up, both Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals line as well as other brands such as My Minerals, for the last 6-months now and can't say enough great things about mineral make-up.  The benefits of mineral makeup include:

-  The foundation is powder format, which makes it easy and less messy to apply.  I'm a mom with a young baby, and with the powder foundation, I can get ready and look great in shorter amount of time

-  Mineral makeup already have SPF 15 sunscreen built in, adding additional sun protection

-  Looks really natural and matte, but not pasty or powdery

-  For those with oily/shinny complexion, I found the mineral foundation to have the a bonus mattifying benefit

The routine:

1. Start with the Bare Escentuals Foundation with SPF 15 sunscreen already built in

2.  Layer on Mineral Veils Face Powder to give your skin and nice even matte finish

(Apply the foundation and face powder with a Kabuki Brush especially designed for the application of mineral foundation and face powder.  Trust me, I have tried using a regular foundation brush and it doesn't work as well as the kabuki brush.)

3.  End with Bare Escentuals Mineral Warmth, a very natural looking bronzer that gives you a gentlly sun-kissed look.

(You can use a regular blush brush to apply the warmth bronzing powder.)

In addition to the foundation and face powder, I also love Bare Escentuals eye shadows as well.  The minerals add a very natural yet glam looking shimmer that's very attractive. 

Note that in addition to Bare Escentuals, there are other mineral makeup brands that you might also want to try, including  My Minerals, which has products that are equally high quality in my opinion, just less marketing.

I have bought my products from both the Bare Escentuals store in the mall as well as from eBay.  Needless to say, I found great discounts and savings on mineral makeup from eBay!
