There are 4 different types of eye colors that Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals have...ever wonder what the differences were?

They are all beautiful and they all can be used wet or dry. Foiling is the term used to describe the dry/wet application. Foiling is easy to do and so beautiful! Apply your glimmer to your eye lids dry then wet your brush and dip it into the glimmer again. Go over your lids and you will get a foil effect. The same eye color will give you 2 different looks!

Eyeshadows are all matte colors. They can be used on the lid dry or try using them wet as an eyeliner. Sheer is the dry look. More opaque is the wet.

Glimmers are colors that are only limited by your imagination! The uses are endless. Foil them, use them over the eyeshadows to add sparkle, mix with body lotion to add sparkle to your shoulders even add to a clear lip gloss for a custom lip color. 

Glimpses are colors that are between the eyeshadows and the glimmers. They do have a bit of sparkle but not as much as the glimmers. Try using them wet for a more opaque look.

The last group is the Eye Quickies. These are colors that can be mixed or used alone. They will transform any of  the eye colors you already own into a brand new shade! They are silver, gold or opalescent eyecolor transformers!

Have fun collecting all the differnt shade. Mix your own unique colors. Experiment and just have fun!

Buying eye color samples on eBay is so much fun and can become addicting. You will find these samples will give you plenty of uses because the product is highly concentrated and you only need a tiny bit. Most samples range from 1/8th of a teaspoon to 1/4 of a teaspoon.
