The highly machined metal frame was made of polished stainless steel flat bar stock, while the seating surfaces were made of pigskin leather. If you are looking for the appearance of the chair but at a more reasonable price there are tons of options available. Be sure to check that the item you are considering is the one made for your needs. Look for single piece frames that will give the durability and appearance you desire. The more authentic style will not have seams at the two front corners of their seat cushions or top corners of the back cushions. These may seem like minor details but they will help determine workmanship and durability. The choice is yours as far as man made materials or leather. Leather is a wonderful material that takes on a life of it's own, gaining beauty.
