Not everyone realizes how fragile Barbies are. When Packing Barbies remember they are Fragile and need to be Packed with Care and Packing Materials.
Also include a packing slip, sometimes people who sell, buy more then 1 type of barbie, without a packing slip feedback can not be left without a lot of research.
Packing Items Needed: Packing peanuts and Bubble Wrap. A strong Secure Box. If you plan on selling Barbies you can buy boxes online for .89 cents a piece in quantitys of 25, personally I will buy 100 at a time and save a lot of money on the shipping. I buy 12X12X18 boxes that can be cut down to 3 sizes from packitusa.com I have found them to be the cheapest. We have a lot of sellers online who sell packing peanuts and bubble wrap if you just do a search for these items you will find many and great prices with free shipping.
Packing 1 Barbie: Wrap her from top to bottom with bubble wrap, carefull not to put any tape on the box. Then wrap her from side to side. Put some packing peanuts in your box and place your barbie plastic down and more peanuts to go around the sides and on the top. IN A STURDY BOX.
Please DO NOT Put a Barbie In The Flat Priority Boxes With No Shipping Materials. I have had many bad dolls Delivered to me this way that were ruined. NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA.
When your packing more then one Barbie. Wrap every doll with bubble wrap the same as above. Face the Plastic inward with the back of the box towards the box. Keep Barbies seperated from each other and Box with packing peanuts. So Very important. Use Smaller Boxes and Add maybe 5 to 6 Barbies per Box.
A lot of people do not realize that even if they purchase insurance that if the box is not packed correctly the post office will not reimburse you for the insurance you paid for. They take the Barbie, Box and Packing Materials. If its under $60.00 the post office will reimburse you immediatly, as long as the box was packed correctly, If its over $60.00 and was packed correctly you will recieve a check after the box is inspected and they find it was packed correctly therefor it was the post offices fault.
