This is written to help people keep a precious Barbie or doll whose hair is ruined!! Don't worry there is a FIX!

You will need static guard, detangler spray, two types of brushes one with hard plastic bristles spread apart and the other a regular hairbrush, and paper(construction thickness...no colors they might bleed on dolls hair) cut into strips the length of the dolls hair and scotch tape.

First lay the dolls hair spread out on a piece of material flat on a table. Spray the detangler over the dolls hair not to wet either.

Let it dry alittle, then start pressing down the brush against her hair flat on the table. Turning the dolls head as you brush. This should straighten out.  If it's really course and out of control try alittle more detangler then try static guard, after the dolls hair is dry from the detangler. Now pick the doll up and brush her hair against her back and down.  To get the shape back to the dolls hair take the paper strips and put them around the dolls hair making sure you keep her hair flat against her back and not sticking straight out. Then once you have the paper where you need  tape it, to hold it in place, then place the doll down on a flat surface for a day or so. Do not use hair dryer it melts the dolls hair.

If the dolls hair is in curls, well thats alittle more work, use the same procedure as above but for the curls you have to work with the curls around your finger alittle hair at a time. Might even use a small comb, spraying detangler on the ends as you work with the curls.

To put curls in the hair, use the wrap-n-snap curlers...pulling on the hair real tight when you roll the hair. Leave curlers in for a few days.

If the doll is missing hair go to a beauty salon and get the hair weaves that match the dolls hair. Cut the hair the length you need, thread this hair thru a needle a few strands at a time and sew the hair thru the dolls head to the other side until both sides are the same length, then cut to even up. Do this until the dolls head is full of hair. If it is possible try and use the hair holes where the missing hair had been.

I will add step by step pictures in a few days. DEBBIE
