This is a classic Ebay project -- many of the items you see were purchased on Ebay. For starters: the kitchen cabinets are Sindy. I wanted more counter space so the cabinet to the far right is actually a Fischer Price refrigerator. On top of the FP cabinet is a miniature collectible of a mixer on a stand.
The windows (above table and sink) are standard 1:12 windows from a dollhouse store. You can use items that are not designed for playscale (1:6) in a playscale diorama -- for example, a 1:12 dining table works very well as a 1:6 coffee table. A dresser can be used as a nightstand, etc.
As with many of my projects, it isn't completely finished. I have one more wall to build.
