Banjara cushion covers and tapestry is hand made from the vintage patches from aged precious wedding saris and dress pieces of silk, cotton, polyester, georgette by old ethnic traditions and skills. Thick hand-made Rajasthani cord dyed in different colors sewn on the joints to give that extra richness on the tapestry. Each piece is unique. Since the tapestries are made from vintage materials, patchwork may be a bit uneven and some beads and threads may be missing. It is not a flaw, but intended to accentuate the true antiquity of the patches used to make the finished item. These items are like pieces of art rather then everyday wall hanging or cushion covers.
