I highly recommend all the BABY EINSTEIN DVDS for your little ones at least birth though 3-4 years. These have kept or son captivated which has been very helpful when we needed to make meals or take a call and guilt free for us because we know he is learning something.

There are many to choose from with a variety of ages. I always let my son watch ones just above his age level too to promote growth. He now at 5 has an awesome vocabulary and this is just One of the things I think helped. I started buying the DVD's when they were just by Julie Clark who invented them. She since sold the company to disney and Disney continues to grow the line with her help.

To interact with the dvd's they now have books and puppets that are fun things to add. Even at 5yrs I think he would sit down and watch these videos.

Recommendation there is a Christmas one that may be a good one to share since it only  come once a year, although kids will watch all year it may drive parents crazy. My least favorite i think was Bach but i know other parents who loved that one. So get some your self for piece of mind, learning, fun and to see what you think of the latest and greatest dvd's for babies on the market.
