To see baby bib examples click here     Baby bibs come in all different sizes, colors and neck closures.  Closers can be strings, Velcro or a hole that slips over the head. Children will wear the bibs longer if they don't feel like your choking them.  The best rule to remember is if you can't put two fingers between the bib edge and the neck of the child under their chin,  the bib is two small. The little two year old on the left even wants more space.  This is the only bib he will wear and that is because he does not like any thing tight on his neck.   Big brother who is four years old,  wears his bib because it likes the dog.

Never leave the bib on them after your done feeding.  If they are very young,  all you have to do is place the bib under their chin without attaching it like a burp cloth.  The bibs are only made for catching the drips and can pose a safety hazard if left on while the child is crawling or learning to walk.  Dangling bibs can became caught while they play and if your not watching your child,  they might choke.

Toddlers need larger bibs with larger neck holes.  Bibs that you used when they are first born are to small at this time. Drooling teething children only need to have their chins wiped from time to time.  Be safe, only use the bibs while they are feeding and remove the bibs when they are done.  Happy children will ask for there favorite bib and wear it longer, if the bib fits them well. Never leave your child unattended while feeding either.  Toddlers like to try to climb out of their high chair.  Bibs can pose a problem if they get caught on this chair.  Make sure you use a Velcro bib that comes undone with a little tug.  It is better to have the bib just fall of,  then have your child to be stuck because the bib is caught.
