Why waste your hard earned money for a Fake that will probably fall apart anyway. Below is a small list of Red Flags to Look for when Buying a pre-owned Coach handbag from Ebay. Please read on for more helpful Information Pictures and Links

1* CHECK SELLERS FEEDBACK! -That is the most important. See If they have sold Fake Coach in the past

2* WATCH OUT FOR EXCUSES!  -  "Got it from a wholesaler"Selling it for My Friend" "It was a gift" "Bought it off ebay and dont know"  

3* TINY PICTURES OF THE BAG!  - So tiny you cant even see them with a magnifying glass..Authentic Sellers SHOW LOTS OF PICTURES

4* WONT ANSWER QUESTIONS! - Dead giveaway it is probably Fake! "Or they get mad if you ask If the Bag is Real"

5* READ THE DESCRIPTION! - Read description carefully sometimes they will tell you it is Fake without you even knowing it!

6* PAYMENT!  Watch out for Sellers who ONLY accept Money orders and Cashier Checks. You send a Genuine USPO Money order or a Bank cashiers Check then some days later you receive the Check or Money order back and guess what? it is FAKE! Money orders and Cashiers checks can also can be Counterfeited!

7* FOREIGN COUNTRY SELLERS - Use Caution!  Most Counterfeit Designer Handbags are made overseas and they actually use childern to hand make these handbags. There is Evidence that the money made from these counterfeit handbags goes toward organized crime and Terrorists!  I highly Recommend Buying from US Sellers..

8* SELLERS WHO HAVE MULTIPLE AUCTIONS OF THE SAME HANDBAG! Another Dead give away the Handbags they are selling are Fake!

9* NEW SELLERS- Watch out for the New Member with New Coach items offering you a Brand New Coach handbag "Buy it now" for $59.00

10* REMEMBER- If it sounds to Good to be True! It probably isnt!

Look for Leather Coach Handbags that are made in the USA The Leather is a better quality and It is thicker and heavier then the Coach Leather Bags that are made overseas.  Coach makes handbags in several different countrys including China,Costa Rica.  

Ask Sellers Questions! Is the color even? Is the stitching tight? Is the hardware in good working condition? When and where was the bag purchased?   

 Watch out for Fake Serial Numbers! (example)                                       

See the Example of Fake Serial Numbers. Notice the Numbers NT-4903 Coach has NEVER made a Serial number beginning with two letters. On the second example see how the numbers are all bunched together. A true sign It is FAKE!

 Watch out for Fake Stitching! (example)

See the example of the Fake Stitching. Coach would NEVER sew a corner like that. ALSO watch for areas that are glued. A true sign it is FAKE!

Watch out for Fake Hardware! (example)

See the example of Fake Hardware. Coach would never use a Big Fat turnlock closure! Notice the metal? Painted steel. Coach only Uses solid Brass or Nickel hardware. I will be adding more information and pictures on Fake Coach Handbags!

Watch out for Fake Patchwork Handbags! (example)

See the example of Fake Coach Patchwork Handbags. The front is patches and the backside is signature Cs pattern..A Real Patchwork has patches on both sides..

*****Cleaning your Coach Leather Handbag*****

After receiving your Vintage Coach Leather Handbag you may want to clean it up a bit before moving your accessories in. If it has light fingernail marks or slight uneven color

Coach recommends Coach Leather cleaner Conditioner/Moisturizer.. Follow Manufacturers directions and apply with a clean cloth and do this at least 3 times a year.

To shine the Brass Hardware just simply remove it with a screwdriver and use a product called Brasso. If you need to replace the Hardware on your Vintage Coach Handbag please go to the Coach website or you may visit  Silver-Coach she offers a great deal of Coach replacement parts and Leather shoulder straps

 SILVER-COACH

If your Vintage Coach handbag needs repairs such as a Broken Zipper , Torn piping you may take it to the nearest Coach store (No Outlet) and They will send it to their National Headquarters to be repaired. It may cost $20.00 for the processing fee but the repair is FREE. Did you know that your Coach Handbag has a lifetime warranty?

If you need a Coach hangtag you must take your Handbag to Coach for a FREE replacement tag. They will not issue one over the phone..

Store your Coach in a Coach dust bag or use a pillow case. It will protect the Leather when not is use. Stuff it with bubble wrap or tissue paper to retain its beautiful shape. 

~~~~~Dying Your Vintage Coach Leather Handbag~~~~~

Coach does NOT recommend this! Coach Leather products are made to Breath and age to a rich patina over time. Never ever use shoe polish on your Vintage Coach Handbag. It will chip peel and probably rub off onto your clothes..However if your Vintage Coach Handbag has seen its better days and you would like to restore it back to its original luster there is a ebay member who offers professional leather renewal service just visit
