I am NOT an authenticity expert by any means whatsoever.  However, I have done some research of my own and want to share my findings regarding Genuine Authentic CHANEL Sunglasses.

On the models of CHANEL Sunglasses that have a wire frame or a rimless model, I can offer the following tips to help you know if you bought the REAL THING:

. The numbers on the left arm near the temple are NOT serial numbers. They refer to the model/color/size of the sunglasses.  (TIP:  Most fakes have these too)

. The right arm near temple will say CHANEL MADE IN ITALY CE   (TIP: Most fakes have these too)

. CHANEL is engraved across the top of the nose bridge and on the backside of the nose pieces the CC Logo, the tip of the arms have the CC Logo.  (TIP: Most fakes have these too)

. TIP:  FAKES do NOT have CHANEL lightly etched in the upper top corner of both lens or on some models on the lens in the center.  FAKES do not have the manufacturer's serial number engraved on the inside of the right arm close to the end or it could be engraved on the edge of the right lens in very tiny markings. The genuine Authentic DO have both of these.  The genuine DO NOT have beveled edges on the lens. 

There are some great sellers out there that ARE selling Genuine Authentic CHANEL but do your own research and ask questions.  TIP: Be sure to check the feedback of sellers to see what other's experiences have been with them.  Together, we can all make EBAY a safer place to buy and sell great stuff !!
