I am writing this for buyers to be careful about buying on eBay motors. You are not always protected by eBay and may be stuck with what you get. We had bought a truck from this buyer wildflower1238, and got a BIG PIECE OF JUNK. We went to get the truck and it was SO not as described. It was missing items, such as spare tire, fuses, no winter front, no book, drivers window shield, and missing 1 fog light. Which is minor but also, there are dents all over, and he listed only a few, scratches and deep chips all over. Had a dead battery and one that is a lawnmower battery. Headliner is cut and leaks. Cigarette burns in the seat. Trailer break sold as working and does not. Wires were cut to electrical parts under the hood and in the bed box of the truck. Back door is broken and does not open correctly. Listing is stated as having daytime running lights and only has 1, the other is not working. Air conditioning does not work properly and was sold as working. Radio was listed as having a cassette and working and does not. Power mirrors did not work. The tail gate is bent and stated had a bed liner, but the bed liner is broken up. The computer in the dash is also not working properly and the CHECK ENGINE light was on, which he did not disclose. The fuel gauge does not run properly. We had took it any way because he said that he had got some bad fuel and that is why the engine light was on. We were wrong and took his word for it, and thought we could take care of a minor thing like that by cleaning out the fuel tank. We were going to over look the cosmetic damages, because we drove over 900 miles to get this truck and figured we would leave him neut. feedback for that. But on the way home the truck kept dying along side the road. Thinking it was the fuel, we just purchased fuel filters along the way, until we got home. Most of the items that were wrong, we did not find out until we started looking trough everything under the sun. We contacted him right away to see if he would fix the problem or take the truck back. He would not work with us in any way. Told us we should not have expected the truck to be in good condition and it was used, also that he did not have enough room in the listing to state all the problems. He told us that it was our fault the truck was not running properly and the truck was fine when it left. We took it into a Chevy service garage to have them hook it up to their machines, they told us that one of the problems was the fuel pump, which would be $1,400, and that was just the start. They also told us that the check engine light had something to do with the glow plugs and not the fuel filter, which he had told us. We had then contacted a dealer he took the truck to and serviced it. They told us he had put the wrong fuel in it and knew the problems the truck was having and he did try to fix it by changing part of the fuel lines, but was unsuccessful. Right there we know he is lying about the whole ordeal. Now eBay will not cover any of this, because of the restrictions of the buyer protection policy. READ IT CAREFULLY before you buy, it does not cover much of anything. As of right now we paid 15,000 for the truck and have stuck $2,000 into it and still have more to go. I want all potential eBay motor buyers to be careful of buying, due to the sellers that lie and try to rip people off and learn from our massive mistake of trusting someone. Also pay through PayPal if possible, you will have a little more protection. We have been dealing with this now for about a month and has cost us way more time and money then need be. This seller pawned this truck, that he ruined off on a unsuspected buyer, then told us we did it, and I think that is wrong.
