BUYER BEWARE, BE VERY AWARE

of

ACE-TECH AUTO SALES
eBay ID: 412jackie

These are the details of how Ace-Tech Auto Sales operates

29DEC07 Update, to fix the front windshield leak, I got a glass installer, he had
to pull the front windshield out to reseal it, low and be hold they had tried to fix it
but using silicon sealer and also stuffed with paper towels, what a cover up.  Plus
by pulling the windshield to fix the leak, I discovered that the roof of the vehicle
had been replaced also.  Windshield repair $50.00 What will I find next.

Other repairs done:

Had to replace rear wiper motor $87.00

Wheel alignment cause one was out $53.00

I will update here as more information is found out:

OK today 20DEC07 here is the negative feed back that 412Jackie leaves for me:

Sellers beware!! complainer, gives neg. even after problems repaired. very rude!!!

So I replay this way:

After 30 days PROBLEM NOT FIXED, took it to my repair shop to be fixed, She Lies

Cause I personally took the vehicle to where I get my vehicles worked on,
on 19DEC07 and I paid to have the vehicle fixed, they NEVER fixed it as she says,
I have the receipt to prove it to.

Can't wait to see how she reply next.

Vehicle is going to a Frame Repair Shop on 19DEC07

ON 19DEC07 Frame Repair Shop replaced the front universal joint a $16.00 part which fixed
the vibration, Ace-TechAuto had the vehicle for almost 30 days and could not find and fix the problem,
even though they said the found 4 loose bolts on the steering box Plus I had to pay $42.00 labor.
Wow, wonder why their auto service men could not do this?

Now it goes to the next mechanic to see what else is found to make this vehicle safe to drive.

First Mistake:

I Bid and won an ebay auction from ace-tech auto sales ebay id of 412jackie

Second Mistake:

BEFORE 24 HOURS AFTER THE END OF THE AUCTION I WENT THERE AND PAID CASH
DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME AND WOW it has a major vibration in the front end

EMAIL Correspondence

Dear 412jackie,

I just picked up this vehicle, as I spoke with Mike about the rear brakes,
and the transmission drive train making noises, he said he would see what
he could get done about those items, after driving it  25 - 30 miles the
vehicle shakes so much that I could not drive safely over 40 - 45 MPH, I
tried going faster to see if the vibration went away as in out of balance
tries, but the vibration only increases.  This vehicle is un safe.

What
would you like to do to correct these obvious major problems.

IN the
mean time I will be taking the vehicle to a mechanic to be checked out in
more detail.

Please only correspond through ebay Message System, not my
e-mail directly.

NEXT

Dear 412jackie,

I have made arrangements for a Mechanic to check out the vehicle this
evening around 6 - 7 PM I will e-mail you his results after I get
them.

Again please only respond through ebay's message system.

Dear 412jackie,

A mechanic just looked at the vehicle and there is something wrong with the
rear end and something else in the front end drive train system.  There is
a lot of slop in the transmission shifter.

I would like to make an appointment to return the vehicle for a FULL refund. ASAP.

I will all so
be calling with this information.

Mike,

Your ebay add states the follow in the Description:

You are bidding on 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4. Jeep has a great reputation! They are safe, dependable and
are built to perform during harsh weather conditions and off road. This Limited is a great value and presents itself nicely
(see photos). It includes all the features you need; this SUV has a very powerful and responsive 5.2L V8 FI, Automatic
transmission with overdrive, full-time four-wheel-drive, power drivers seat, cruise control, tilt wheel, ice-cold A/C,
AM/FM CD player, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, leather interior, and a factory roof rack.
This Jeep runs very well. The engine is strong and responsive, and the automatic
transmission shifts smoothly through its gears. The cream interior shows average wear – we gave
her a quick wash and wipe down for photos, and she could use a better detail. The dash, carpet, and headliner are
also in good condition. Overall, the interior appears to be in very nice condition – there are some visible staining in
the carpeting. Although we do not have service records, in our opinion, the previous owner must have taken good
care of it. The classic green paint has a great shine and looks very presentable (see photos). There is some clear coat
(mainly on the roof area) that is peeled (see photos); there are some rust blisters here and there (again, visible in photos).
In our opinion, none of these minor blemishes detract from this Jeep’s great looks. The brakes and exhaust seem
to be in good operating condition. In our estimation the tires are approximately 90% (this is a guesstimate not
an actual measurement – see photos). We believe, as with most Jeeps, “she has a lot of life left in her”
 – with only 101K, she is barely even broken in yet. Winter is on its the way (unfortunately), and that
means you will need a vehicle not only for the balance of this summer for camping and vacations, but also for maneuvering
in the snow! Although E-bay is making us list this as a salvage vehicle it does have a clear New York Title. We are offering
this SUV at NO RESERVE! Get your bidding fingers ready! This one will surely go to the highest bidder!

So in your own Description you sate these items are in good condition in your opinion, of which they are NOT in good
condition.  Your statement has nothing to do with any previous owner, ONLY your statement/opinion.

Also see the lemon law for PA:

Used Motor Vehicle Trade Regulation Rule

This rule, which is promulgated by the Federal Trade Commission, provides protection for consumers who are purchasers of
 used cars.

The Used Motor Vehicle Trade Regulation Rule prohibits dealers from:

 (1) misrepresenting the mechanical condition of a used car or,

 (2) misrepresenting the warranty terms of a used car.

The rule also requires the dealer to put a buyers guide window sticker in every used car. This sticker must:

 (1) tell you whether the car is sold is sold with a warranty,

 (2) tell you what the terms of the warranty are, if the car is sold with a warranty

 (3) warn you to get all promises in writing and

 (4) warn you to ask to have the car inspected by a mechanic before you buy.

Since this window sticker is part of your contract, you should be sure to keep it. If you wish to correct or report any
violations of the rule, you must first contact the Federal Trade Commission, who is responsible for its enforcement.

You also have the option of contacting the Attorney General’s Office at 1-800-441-2555 concerning unfair business
practices. You can contact the Better Business Bureau at 412-456—2720, who will also send a report to the Attorney
General’s Office. You would then need to press 2 on your phone for the Lemon Law.

You can file your complaint at the Attorney General’s Office and the Better Business Bureau.

Please advise how you would like to handle the return and full refund for this vehicle.

Spoke with Mike about 2pm today 26NOV07, he said the Mechanics drove in in the shop and checked the boots and there
was nothing wrong, he asked if he could drive it himself to see if he noticed anything, this all after I and my daughter took
Jackie for a ride and she (Jackie) felt the vibration at around 40 to 45 MPH and above and took her (Jackie) to a parking lot
and did a hard turn and she could hear the front drivers side CV joint pop/cracking noise.

Mike said he was sure the mechanic only drove it on the lot into the work garage, and did not actually take it for a test drive.

Notes from day one:

Meet Mike first, he said that Jackie had lost her PA Sales License because she was not doing the Tax Exempt paper correctly

Jackie and I did get into a heated Discussion cause she said that they could not fill out a PA MV-3 form that we had to go to
an Another place to do it, so I had to drive to the AAA office to fill out a PA MV-3.  Which could be downloaded from the
PA Forms web site and she could have just filled it out there ( Insert PA form Web site here ).

NEXT

Called Mike on 29NOV07 and left a message asking how it was going and got no call back

Called Mike on 30NOV07 he answered and said the found that 4 bolts where loose on the steering box and that was the cause
 of the problems.

Told him I would be there on 04DEC07 to pick up as I work every day till then

NEXT

Picked Jeep up on 13DEC07, drove it and as soon as it got to about 42 45 MPH the front end vibrated just as it did before.

Maybe an appoint to have it triple checked out on 18DEC07, the be leave it is the Steering stabilizer, but need to put it on a
lift to check.

Also the front windshield leaks, it is so un-sealed that when you drive about 50 MPH or higher it whistles wind through the
 top of the window frame.

Also discovered the rear windshield wiper motor does not work.
