Buyers Beware!! Wanting to see that sold out game? Wanting to purchase tickets at a great price? This is NOT the place to do so. I purchased 4 Chicago Cubs tickets in Apr. of '06 for a game in Sept. of '06 for over $200.00 for great seats from a seller here. I even planned a late summer vacation for my family around this game. Imagine the disappointment of my husband and sons then 10 & 12 when we went to the ball park and found that the person who we bought the tickets from had canceled those tickets as they were part his season tickets, therefore allowing the ball park to resell the seats--leaving us unable to see the game and over $200.00 poorer. Unfortunately since the tickets were purchased so far in advance, the window of time to file a complaint/claim against the seller was no longer available. I think one of the biggest things that makes me angry is the fact that I gave this seller positive feedback as I thought this was a great transaction--WRONG!! So before you put your hard earned money and excitement of seeing a ballgame at the mercy of a potentially unscrupulous seller, you may want to stick to the old fashioned way of obtaining tickets--directly from the particular baseball organization themselves. And you can't rely on the seller's feedback profile for insight to whether or not you may be duped as the feedback is usually posted after purchasing/receiving an item--not months later and too late as was in my case. And in order to be fair to those sellers who are honest, I would suppose the best way to prevent being scammed would be to contact previous buyers to get their opinion on whether or not the seller was forthright. I hope this guide helps others and saves them from having to see the disappointed/heartbreaking look of sorrow on the face of their child/children.
