Like an idiot, I purchased a book from mandysgoodbooks7 without first looking at his or her feedback score. It is a MINUS 6. I've never seen a neagative feedback score. There are nothing but red negative feedbacks. Needless to say, I did not receive the book and they wii not answer email. Thankfully, I paid through PayPal and have protection. Another seller who has a ton of positive feed back and a good bit of negative has also not sent the book and has not answered 5 emails from me. His name is indoo half....Both of these are on Half.com which is a branch of ebay for buying textbooks and other books. The main problem is that most use Media Mail and it can take up to 14 BUSINESS DAYS...Not 14 days...so that ends up being three weeks before you can even file a claim. Also, that means that your kid is a month behind in his college classes unless you happened to buy them a month in advance (Which you usually can't do because you don't know what textbooks you'll need until they register for class) Just something to think about. I bought 3 books costing $221.00 from the Half.com site and only received one of them. I had to repurchase the other two at the campus book store so my son wouldn't be so far behind. Of all of the things I have bought on ebay, this was the first time that I had ANY problems. So, beware and check their feedback scores. Also check to see if they offer other forms of shiiping. The one that I received offered Expedited delivery for only $1.50 more than media mail and the other ones didn't..Most of them don't, so BEWARE...Shop Smart.
